‘Day of the Falcon’ Trailer Starring Antonio Banderas

Image Entertainment has debuted the first trailer for Day of the Falcon, following the behind-the-scenes featurette from yesterday. Jean-Jacques Annaud (Two Brothers) directs this period epic that centers on two kingdoms who discover oil between their territories, which ignites a brutal war. Check out the new footage from this epic drama, debuting on VOD February 1 before arriving in theaters March 1. We also have the latest poster featuring stars Antonio Banderas, Mark Strong, Freida Pinto, and Tahar Rahim.

Day Of The Falcon Poster

Starring Antonio Banderas (Desperado), Mark Strong (Zero Dark Thirty), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Tahar Rahim (The Eagle), Day of the Falcon is an epic film that tackles honor, greed, betrayal and love between rival kingdoms. Just as the two groups cease to fight after years of bloodshed, oil is discovered between their territories, reigniting their once violent past. It's now up to their children-young lovers who married in hopes of bringing the families together-to find a way to end the violence and to bring peace to the land.

Day of the Falcon was released March 1st, 2013 and stars Antonio Banderas, Mark Strong, Freida Pinto, Riz Ahmed, Tahar Rahim, Corey Johnson, Liya Kebede, Eriq Ebouaney. The film is directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud.

    @thomasclarke Agreed. I'm still not sure... I think it came out in limited release around November, but I never heard anything about it, nor do I see a dvd release date anywhere.

    @thedude-abides i wasnt sure if it was a mistake or a sequel but with the related articles it does seem that it could be the same film. Why do americans get it so much later, we have had it at the cinema and its been released on dvd too like 4 months later and its been out like 2 months its rather odd.
