Danny DeVito will woo Kristen Bell in his own inimitable style in Disney's romantic comedy When in Rome, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Mark Steven Johnson is directing When in Rome, which centers on a love-starved New York curator (Bell) who steals magical coins from a famous Roman fountain but soon finds herself in a bizarre situation when she is pursued back to New York by a band of aggressive suitors -- the very people whose coins she took. DeVito will play one of the suitors.
DeVito joins a supporting cast that already includes Will Arnett, Josh Duhamel, Jon Heder, Anjelica Huston and Dax Shepard.
The studio shoots this month in New York.
When in Rome was released January 29th, 2010 and stars Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel, Anjelica Huston, Will Arnett, Jon Heder, Dax Shepard, Alexis Dziena, Kate Micucci. The film is directed by Mark Steven Johnson.
