Never doubted he would be good in the part (he is one of the greatest actors of our time) but surprised how much he LOOKS the part...if that makes sense.

Although, ha! The title of this article is a little misleading. Presumable Lincoln's "costume" in the film will not be blue jeans and sneakers.

Totally immersed in character, as usual. DDL is one of those actors you barely recognize when he's just being himself because he embodies his characters so completely.

Yeah, that's right Spielberg. Show Clint Eastwood how to really make a film about a key figure in American history. Not that sh*tty J Edgar.

Holy f*ck that is awesome! What a great actor/director combo for this movie!!!

By the way, does anyone else think it's ironic that his character in Gangs of New York, at one point in that film, cursed Lincolns name and threw a knife at a poster of the famous president, hitting him between the eyes (which was met with laughter and applause) and now he IS that president. Movie magic, got to love it!
