Craig Gillespie is in talks to join Disney's baseball drama Million Dollar Arm. We reported that Jon Hamm joined to play J.B. Bernstein back in May.

The drama follows sports agent J.B. Bernstein, who discovered professional pitchers Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel through a reality show in India. The two imports became the first Indian players to sign pro baseball teams when they got contracts with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Tom McCarhty penned the script with Mark Ciardi, Gordon Gray, Palak Patel and Joe Roth producing.

Craig Gillespie previously directed Lars and the Real Girl, Mr. Woodcock and DreamWorks' Fright Night remake. He is also working on Flamingo Thief starring Will Ferrell.
