I want to win because my fiance has NEVER seen any of the Star Wars movies. NEVER! Not even once. So i want her to see the greatest collection of movies ever in stunning blue ray high definition. Her and i are going to have a marathon and watch them all. Please pick me, so i can pull another person from the clutches of the Dark Side.

  20. K-Man

I think I should win this set because I am the guy who, when I was in Elementary School and Middle School, would intentionally stay home an extra day or two when I got sick JUST so that I could watch the entire Star Wars series back to back for a second or third time in a row.
I should win these because these films helped, in a way, define my childhood years by the use of imagination and brilliant storytelling and helped define my younger adult years by being one of the primary influences that carved the path and inspired my career choice of filmmaking.
I should win these because, as much as I love these films and what they mean to me, I cant afford to buy them right now because I've had to cut back on my spending due to all the budgeting costs of developing a career for myself, so this is my only shot of getting them!!!
And Lastly, I think I deserve to win these films because these blu-ray's would be a gift that would never EVER go under-appreciated.......Not for a second.

    Good luck to everyone!!!

  26. Shinjiikari1984

This is one fine adition to add to my Original Star Wars Vhs box set collection, the minimal edits don't bother me as much as my fellow fanatics as much as the 1997 reedit. Not Bad but took away a conciderable amount from the original, the picture wil be pristine clear to perfection.

I have been a big Star Wars fan since first seeing the original back in the summer of 1977. I have seen each and every episode in theathers; including the special editions. I have all movies on DVD and the three originals in VHS unopened. This would be a fantastic prize to win and add to my collection.
