The Fantastic Four reboot lands writer Jeremy Slater
The project is based on the Marvel comic book series created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, revolving around the exploits of Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Girl, The Human Torch, and The Thing. Fox previously released Fantastic Four in 2005 and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007, although they are starting over from scratch with a new origin story. No story details have been released at this time.
Jeremy Slater has written Tape 4, which is set up at Lionsgate and revolves around the life of genre writer H.P. Lovecraft. He also has the teen comedy My Spy in development at Universal, with Jake Kasdan attached to direct.
Production won't start on Fantastic Four until both The Wolverine and X-Men: First Class Sequel wrap production.
Fantastic Four comes to theaters March 6th, 2015. The film is directed by Josh Trank.

The rights stay with Fox. They gave up Daredevil back to Marvel to keep this and Silver Surfer/Galactus.

Hope that it's grounded into reality, that's what comic book movies need now a days, not a cartoonish approach.

Unless it is a different origin story, I say don't bother focusing too much on that part.
