Ant-Man Test Footage Shown in Hall H
Ant-Man will become one of The Avengers after he gets his own stand-alone film. The test footage was all CGI, and was used primarily to give the audience an idea about Ant-Man's size. There was no actor playing Ant-Man, and the film was not announced as one of the four films Marvel currently has in production. Those would be Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2, and (the just minutes ago announced) animated adventure Guardians of the Galaxy.
The test footage was "completely unfinished" according to Edgar Wright. While it showed off Ant-Man in all his CGI glory, there was also a lot of blue screen and wirework. At this time, Edgar Wright does not have an announcement about who will, or possibly could, play Ant-Man.
There is no news on when the film will be released, or when it will even go into production. We'll have more from the Iron Man 3 panel as it continues.
Ant-Man comes to theaters November 6th, 2015. The film is directed by Edgar Wright.

@themoviefanatic Wright said it wouldn't be part of the movie. It looks like the Scott Lang version of Ant-Man because of what he had over his mouth. If you wiki Ant-Man Scott Lang, what is over his mouth was similar to what the breathing apparatus looked like in the test footage.

@Blackout23 Wow, that all sounds pretty cool! Will that test footage end up becoming part of the Ant-Man movie? I am interested in seeng that test footage, if it will ever get leaked on to the internet somehow or released officially on the internet, as like a long clip or something or a trailer for the Ant-Man movie.

@themoviefanatic I thought it was great! Not bad at all for test footage. It made Ant Man look pretty bad ass. It was a fighting scene. Two security guys in a hall way and Ant Man climbs out of the vent and starts running towards them. Showing a side shot how he would look being ant size running and then the POV switched to the security guards. And then Ant Man jumps to normal size. The guards are like what the? And then Ant Man lunges at one of the guards as he lunges he jumps back to ant size and pulls the gaurds tie back and hits the guy in the face. Basically it shows how bad ass Ant Man could be on the big screen and it completely won me and everyone else at the panel over.
