Arnold Schwarzenegger confirms that a Twins sequel is happening
He also revealed that the original director, Ivan Reitman, will return to helm the sequel. So, what's the big hold-up then? According to Arnie, they are currently looking for someone to write the script.
Back in March, we reported that this sequel was actually going to be called Triplets, with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito starring alongside Eddie Murphy. The story involved the brothers realizing they actually had a third brother, played by Eddie Murphy.
That report indicated Ivan Reitman would only produce, although now it seems he is back on board as a director. Since the project is looking for a new screenwriter, it is unclear if the Triplets premise will hold up.

sorry... this doesnt work for me... might have 20 years ago maybe 17 at the tops... but arnold needs to stop dicking with his past films... next we will see a commando 2 and a Red Heat 2.... move forward instead of f*cking up our childhood with these cash ins.
