Paradise Lost is in development and stars Bradley Cooper, Benjamin Walker, Djimon Hounsou, Casey Affleck, Camilla Belle, Callan McAuliffe, Dominic Purcell, Diego Boneta. The film is directed by Alex Proyas.

This is going to be bad, I'm just having a hard time imagining Bradley Cooper as the Devil. Also the scale of Milton's Paradise Lost is that of an epic scale, and Alex Proyas is not that of the epic-scale direction.
Last not to mention the beyond epic scale battle sequences this film will need and desire and the mass amount of CGI for aerial battle, cause we all now here that U.S Studios can't pull off House Of Flying Daggers wirework sequences.

The eyes are sort of right, just a bit small and round and less dark. The skin is all wrong.
Also real Lucifer/Samael is insanely more beautiful than BC.
And are they going to put Bradley Cooper on a rack to stretch him to 2.3-2.5 m?

I thought Lucifer was supposed to be the most beautiful of all the angels, not sure if Bradley Cooper is the right guy! For one thing, he's too sleazy looking, you think he's lying even when he's telling the truth, the whole point about the character of Lucifer is that you believe he's telling the truth. I would have cast a more beloved actor.
Brad Pitt made a great Jessie James because he made the audience think he's cool, even though he's a total bastard. Something similar should have been done with Lucifer (I'm saying all this knowing that any adaptation of Paradise Lost is going to be awful regardless)

@ownsin I take it you've seen what the real Lucifer looks like? If so, you need to give them a ring and let them know how they're screwing up. Plus that is just half a face.
I've always believed him to either have a humanoid type body, or the ability to shift into whatever he wants, so their concept of him isn't wrong in my eyes. Of course, I haven't sat down and fully read Paradise Lost yet. I have the book, just been lazy getting to it. So if it describes what he looks like in detail, I'll eat my words.
