@thedude1 I love Saw, and I'm glad it had it's run of 7 films that had consistency in it's story time-line and wrapped everything up :) we'll just have to wait and see how this third film turns up financially. which i'm sure will be big.

@ghostman That is a good question. I thought the same thing after the first 3 Saw movies and they were able to make 4 more movies. As long as Paramount keeps making huge money they will find someone to write a doable script for future sequels. Paramount is also the same company that made 8 Friday the 13th movies during the 80s. So none of us can be surprised if they make at least 6 more of these.

@dan1 sorta like Twilight: it's sh*t for quality, but look at the cash it makes, same goes for Cars as well :(

@ghostman Exactly. They are thinking in terms of profits. And these movies make mega profit.

@dan1 just like how Saw had a budget of 15-20mil per film and earned a total of 800mil worldwide out of 7 films! that's a pretty good profit.

@ghostman As long as they keep making them for dirt cheap and turning profits that are in the 1000's of %, they'll keep churning them out. Story be damned.

Words can't describe how terrible this franchise is, so I'll just shove a fork in my arm... Well make that someone else's arm. That chiz hurts.

@thedude1 but where else will they go if it seems like the story is about the sisters and their haunted past which the 3rd one will explain, where would they go with a continuing story after that? I mean i did read somehwere they would do 10 films, but I don't know...

@ghostman It won't be the final PA movie that is almost for sure. This franchise is making far too much money to stop after only 3.

This looks to be the final one, being how they're telling the back-story on the two, even though they both end the same way: '(Blank name) was never seen again and the whereabouts of (blank name) are unknown' lol but I'll prolly go and see this just for a little scary good time on Halloween :)
