Here's what fans can expect in season 10:
- Actor John Schneider made an appearance at the Con, confirming that Clark Kent's father, Johnathan Kent will return this season in some capacity
- The producers touched on the Clark flying and basically replied with "everyone know how the comic ends..." and essentially hinted that we will get to see Clark flying....eventually. (Check out the teaser below, is that Clark flying up the side of the Daily Planet?)
- The big villain showing up is Darkseid from the comics, though the Smallville's take on the character will be a bit different take.
- Erica Durance will appear in all 22 episodes this season while Justin Hartley will be in 17.
- The producers are leaving the door open to the possibility of Michael Rosenbaum returning as Lex Luthor, but they also urged fans to start nudging if they want him back.
- DC members of the Suicide Squad, as well as Darkseid's harbingers
- Hawkman will return, Carter Hall, undertaking an archaeological endeavor in the desert with Lois
- The upcoming 200th episode will delve into Smallville's past, present and future, also making it the longest running sci-fi show on television

This one better be good I skip a few season and came back in the 6 to now seasons. Also if any fox shows that I've been watching a long time comes on at the same time, then probably will be watching that instead of this.

Yes, I'm looking forward to this coming season but I don't yell about it. Dear lord, it's so childish to yell and cheer for a TV show. And it's not the longest sci-fi show on TV, Star Gate franchise all ready broke that some time ago. SG1 lasted 10 seasons, Star Trek lasted decades, Doctor Who lasted a long time as well. So they aren't a lone, and stop pretending your that you are.

Yes there was a lot of hyped up Superman fans there. Its gonna be an epic season and I'm gonna be there for the last ride! I waited 10 yrs to see Clark become the man of steel!! I wish the series wasn't ending but like all good things they must come to an end. Hopefully Nolan will get the new Superman movie going soon. Maybe they will cast Welling!!

KryptonSite Smallville Comic-Con Interviews, Part I: Tom Welling!
In nearly ten years of writing about Smallville, between companion books and running KryptonSite, I (webmaster Craig Byrne) have interviewed almost every cast member of the series - except one.
Today, after a fantastic panel at the Comic-Con International in San Diego, I've finally been able to check that off the list, talking to someone who was incredibly gracious both on the panel and in the press room - someone where the show wouldn't be possible without him - Mr. Tom Welling. The interview was short, but, hopefully you'll be pleased with what he had to say.

KRYPTONSITE: At the CW Upfronts in May, you talked a bit about wanting to get people from the show's past back onto the show. Can you tell me a bit more about what you've tried to get Michael back?
TOM WELLING: Well, I have tried a few things with Michael. I've twisted his arm, I've taken him to dinner, I've gotten him drunk... I've tried to get him to sign papers that he didn't know what they were... so, I'm trying everything that I can. Michael wants to come back, but there are just some things to iron out, and I think he understands that we can't end the show without Lex Luthor. We're even teasing the idea that he's going to be on already, with the idea of clones, or [the idea] that Lex has developed these bodies that he could then tap into to heal himself later in life.
Supergirl will be back, Jonathan will come back... I just want to see all of these people come back, so that we can all get closure on all of them.
K-SITE: Do you think we'll have any closure with Lana by series' end?
TOM: I would love to see Clark in a situation where he's got Lois to his left and Lana to his right, and it's like a very awkward scene. I think it would be a great scene.

man that was f*cking insane i was grinning ear to ear the hole time, i cannot wait for this to premier and i cant wait for a clear version of this trailer/preview, i love the montage too how they did all the big scenes from past season leading up to its epic ten year, as a hardcore and dedicated fan im and so immensely excited for this, i will be so sad to see it end, honestly when it ends dare i say a part of me goes with it, this show is the best Ive ever watch, and like all fans do not want to see it end, i hope they do a big screen version of when the season finale comes they do a 2 hour movie, MAN IM AM AMP UP FOR THIS

Yea they didn't show him but they showed Granny Goodness again. I'm sure he will make an appearance but they don't wanna spoil his look. I just hope he aint some human like Doomsday was.

Holy sh*t my nipples just got hard reading this and watching this!!!! As a true blue dedicated Smallville and Superman fan I must say this is the day we have been waiting for!!! Clark flying, the suit, him becoming Superman!!! I love that they will take such an iconic villain like Darkseid and put him on the small screen. Hell seems directors of the Superman movies dont even wanna put him on the big screen. I just hope and pray they dont mess him up like they did Doomsday. This season is going to be epic! And if your a fan or were a fan of Smallville now is the time to turn your tv's on and not miss the final season!!! Ill see my fellow Superman fans in September for the premier!!
