for some reason i just love watching any of the last 3 movies.. the first was the best but 2 and 3 were very competitive to each other and the 1st movie.. all 3 movies represent a great trilogy and i think what made the story so alive and what made people not expecting what to come out of the movies was the fact that jack sparrow and all the characters don't really have any other people they could or should trust.. especially jack sparrow as he sort of makes the story as it goes along.. and although it felt overdone in the 2nd and 3rd, i still think that they did a great job trying to present it.. cz after watching the movie arround 2 or maybe 3 times, you should be able to see where everything comes from... saying that, i can't wait for pirates 4, and wether like the 2nd or the 3rd or the 1st, i'm pretty sure it will be great..

Well, luckily that wont be a problem with Pirates 4.

Black Pearl was the best. Did not care for the sea creatures and water-logged fantasy and weird boat carrying crabs and such. Way too weird and had nothing whatsoever to do with the ride like Pearl did.

What about Pirates 1 ? . Hopefully Pirates 4 will not be over done, and over bloated like Pirates 2 and Pirates 3. I think they are trying to bring back the franchise to the way it started off with Pirates 1, by what i see in those new photos, i don't see any of those CGI characters like Davy Jones in Pirates 2 and Pirates 3, where their entire character they play as are in a CGI outfit, that are yet to be completed by computerized visual and special effects, after filming the movie.

I agree with @Sly and @Insert. DMC was amazing. I felt like a child again, watching an epic tale unfold. Again, Rob Marshal has a lot of fans waiting to see if he lives up to the series.

I too liked Dead Man's Chest and At World's End. I think the entire trilogy is pretty solid and this new director has a lot to live up to.

I really liked the themes and characters of #2 & #3. As well as the story. idky loads of people didn't like them. My only two complaints would be that in #3, that the first 122 minutes (or almost all the 'story' portions) felt more like the middle of a trilogy rather than a build up to the climax. The Dead Man's Chest story seemed to beckon for a trilogy. And while loving the theme of industrialization and modernization, I kinda wanted Beckett to get involved with the fighting, perhaps being fallen by Barbossa who seemed to understand the world Beckett comes from, as well as recognizing the threat, seeing as all Barbossa did was steer the ship in the climax. And I wouldn't really put it past Beckett to fight with rage if need be.

I think so too, that Pirates 4 will have the glory of Pirates 1.

After the last two went off track just a touch, I have a feeling this one will return it to the glory of the first film. Yet another must see for 2011!

He does not sound any different then he has before, that's just the video that we watched it from that made it seem that way, either that or it was the speakers where the sound came out of, at that place where that comic con event took place, where they showed that video of him.
