SDCC 2010: Piranha 3D Footage Leaked That Was Too Hot for Comic-Con

When Dimension Films attempted to bring select scenes from their upcoming summer horror film Piranha 3D to Comic-Con 2010, the residents of San Diego deemed the footage "too hot" for the convention center. Meaning that it was far too gory, and far too sexy to be shown to a family-based audience. Instead, the footage was shown in Downtown San Diego to wide-spread acclaim. If you missed that never-before-seen montage from Alexandre Aja's upcoming epic, which contains gruesome, gory scenes of the fish in action, don't fret! Bloody Disgusting has just uncovered the entire nine minutes of film for your viewing pleasure. Warning: This footage is very graphic and bloody. To watch the video, click on the clip below:

Piranha 3D footage that was too hot for Comic-Con


Piranha 3D was released August 20th, 2010 and stars Richard Dreyfuss, Ving Rhames, Elisabeth Shue, Christopher Lloyd, Eli Roth, Jerry O'Connell, Steven R. McQueen, Jessica Szohr. The film is directed by Alexandre Aja.

    Hey Rufio. i think you're missing the point. This film is obviously an exploitation flick. Im pretty sure Aja knows there is strong element of "Bad" to this film. It's like you're going to the special ed class to make fun the handicapped kids. They already know how f*cked up the situation is. You think any actor was like, "Ok, let's be serious about this." C'mon man.

    Honestly, save your hate for films that try to be good, but are f*cking garbage. Like Twilight.

    If you dont think Rhames, Dreyfuss, or Shue are credible Hollywood names I cant help you.

    @Masta_Chiefed the cast? that's a reason to see a film? back in the day people said if Val Kilmer was in it it was gonna be good. Or Arnold. Or Rob Lowe. Or Richard Dreyfus. Or Ving Rhames. Or Elisabeth Shue. Or Jerry O'Connell... oh wait, half of those are cast in this joke of a movie.
    names are not a standard to see a movie (or make one for that matter). plenty of good names in crappy films (or crappy names in good films). this movie is glorified trash. at least exploitation films had the decency to say that's what they were. this one is actually trying to sell as actual entertainment.

    @Daveactor7 ooh really thats cool...and the thing was im kinda young, soo i wasnt really familiar with Romero at all, until Dawn of the Dead(04) (what do you think of the remake? i think its all right, it was definitely updated for this day and age )and then i got all into zombies and when i first saw day of the dead on the scifi channel, i hated it...NOW...damn its my favorite zombie movie...i just like the 80's feel and all and fvcking Rhodes, damn.. Joe Pilato is the man, soo yea and...Romero has gone down hill with "Survival"....but i still like the guy =/
