SDCC 2010 EXCLUSIVE: Star Trek 2 Updates from Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman!

While out promoting Hawaii Five-0 at this year's Comic-Con, we managed to catch up with writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman to discuss the status of their script for Star Trek 2, the sequel to their hit 2009 film directed by J.J. Abrams. Here's what Roberto and Alex had to say about the project:




Star Trek 2 comes to theaters May 17th, 2013 and stars Zoe Saldana, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, John Cho. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams.

    Perfect sequel story. U. S. S. Enterprise under the command of Capt. J. T. KIRK (not C. Pike) receives distress call from science survey team on planet Talos IV. Perfect for old fans. Good for new comers.
