Yeah, it's impossible to me to even fathom how you go through SO much money. Though to be fair, once managers, agents, publicists, accountants etc have taken their piece - he's not left with $20 million per. Still even if he's collecting $5 - $7 mill per cheque, that's a crapload of money to blow through. I think he also buys a lot of ridiculous things too.

With his recent string of films (not to mention all the ones he has in the wings) I think Cage is finally starting to get himself out of his hole and if he's smart he won't dig it again. I liked both NT films so I'll see the third one as well, cause I can't stop now!

ha, ok yeah i guess thats true. but i agree with your logic, how do you spend that kind of money so fast?? he makes like 20 mil per film and has had or been in at least 7 in the past couple years, so i just think it's crazy. and what the f*ck is he doing with romanian castles??!!! and he must be buying A LOT of cars because clive cussler (the author) also collects cars and doesnt make nearly as much money as cage, yet he isn't bankrupt. cussler has an airplane hanger filled with cars. i dunno, cage must be off his rocker or something.

Because he spends it as fast as he makes it.
I don't understand how you can make that kind of money and be broke either.
But then I don't collect vintage cars, romanian castles in need of repair and god knows what else...

I'm looking forward to the 3rd one. I really enjoyed the first film and the second one to me was almost as good but it didn't quite reach the level that the first did, though it was still good. Hope they do something great with number 3.

I know they're cheesy - but YAY!!! I can't WAIT!!! Fun, fun, fun. I think Nic Cage should just keep making National Treasure movies for the rest of his life plus 1 day more.
