Well I think the posters are great.

One of you said Chris can't act, I've been watching his films for a number of years and I've enjoyed all of them.

The only thing I hated about Salvation was Bales performance, he should have been Marcus and Sam should have been Conner.

The posters look good, but they, like the pictures that have been released, really tell us nothing of how the movies will play out. The people that are saying Thor is going to be awful, or Evans is going to suck as Cap should at least wait until the trailer comes out before forming opinions on the movie. As for all the complaints of the costumes, it's true that they don't necessarily look exactly like they do in the comics, but it is a difficult transition form paper to live action. With that said, I feel they did a decent job in creating costumes that are in the spirit of each character. Besides, if the costumes end up being the biggest complaint about the movies, then two very good movies will be in our future.

  16. The Narrator: The Better Man

@penguin... if an american was to be cast as Bond, the Brits would sh*t a brick, no matter who the star was. It's f*cking James Bond. Captain America is a similar situation. Granted Captain America isn't an established worldwide film franchise, but that will change. Another thing is, I know we cast Americans to play outsiders all the time, and vise versa. Well thats all fine, and I agree with whoever fits the role should get it despite their nationality. Still, it would at least be preferred if an american got the role.

That aside, even if more fans were fine with a foreign actors portraying Steve Rogers, Worthington would make a crap choice. Have you read a Captain America comic? Worthington has too much bravado, too much baggage that goes along with his acting, and I don't think he'd be able to pull it off. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong, but I won't be because the role is already cast. We can grumble on the choice of actor, but it won't make a difference. At least with Evans, we get the right build, right age (for the ending of the movie), and hopefully a surprise performance.

You must not watch very much of anything if you actually think Chris Evans can act.

    @brian = Fail :D

Concept Art Posters...not technically theatrical posters....there is a difference...So look and the mirror and see Mr Sucka :)

i don't care that worthington isn't american, i care that he is a sh*tty actor. Evans is a better actor, watch sunshine.

  21. I AM FRATSON

@xyber - it was said a while back that they didnt want to use the helmet that much. could be wrong tho. hope it is in it personally.

I agree. I think worthington made Salvation. However no use bitchn about who the role could have gone to. If evans underperforms, they recast ala hulk. I think this is a chance for evans to put on a performance and dominate the role. hoping for the best.

as for thor - i have high hopes. i love the outfits so far. high expectations for this one.

This is all CONCEPT ART!! God, I wish MovieWeb would STOP mis-titling this crap. The Comic-Con banner is wicked cool, however. It just sucks we have to wait FOREVER for cool stuff to be done on this site.

  23. Jay.A.Ottley

@penguin-9026 is a given THUMBS UP!

So many perfect people wanted to do this role, and Johnston gives it to bloody Chris Evans of all people, what because he jizzed his pants, when he saw the concept art.

  24. penguin_9026

I dont think cost was an issue so much as stupidity. Worthington wanted to do the role but people are too shallow to understand that. Just because hes not American doesnt mean he cant be Captain America. Its about the heart and passion an actor brings to the role that matters not where they are born. As for Evans his acting is sh*t. Its down right f*cking horrible. Channing Tatum could act circles aroung Evans.

  26. Xybernetic

OK (geekmode) I'm liking the fact that Loki apparently will wear his helmet but im no digging the fact that I haven't seen thor wear his on any of the pics or poster which probably means he wont wear it at all.

    2 years agoby @xyberneticFlag

  27. Xybernetic

@penguin-9026 I see worthington as cap but hes probably a more expensive actor and Evans do have a better physique (no homo)

    2 years agoby @xyberneticFlag

  28. Brainiac

wolfman was a mess cuz Joe johnston took over for someone else like a few days b4 filming started. i'm sure Captaina America will be fine.

and the Thor one is sweet. even though it isn't live action, it is at least an action shot and that made the suit look better already. my worries for thor r slightly lifted now.

    2 years agoby @thebdFlag

  29. penguin_9026

After seeing how poorly Wolfman was put together and the casting of Chris Evans in the title role, I have no faith in Captain America. I still think Sam Worthington would have perfect for the title role of Cap.

  30. Jay.A.Ottley

I like C.A, but i dunno i'm just not feeling Johnson or Evans......Was looking forward to Mark Valley in the title role, his perfect for it.....And if not him Daniel Craig.

But this is artwork, none to say the least.......And well, i aint getting my hopes up, for a few reason some being that

Johnston just never delivers as much as you anticipate and his films are too over-packed with too many characters and thats already happening with this film.....They just don't live up to the hype, so i'll walk in this film with low expectations....
And Thor, well i aint a fan of the comics, the mythology, yes...and well thats already looking bad :)
