Kevin: I think we know. It's going to be Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Nick Fury. I think it's safe to assume that there will be some members of the Hulk universe in the film as well. In terms of the additional, I think Black Widow for sure. SHIELD's organization for sure. And, again, what's exciting to me about the Avengers movie are seeing those four characters together and interact with each other. Anywhere from the first issue of the Avengers to Civil War, the dynamic between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark is awesome and fascinating. It brings out sides of the others that won't be brought out in their own franchises. Throwing Thor into the mix is a whole other thing and I think that will be cool. So to pile in another ten or fifteen...or frankly even four...I think will be too many.
Is the Hulk in it?
Kevin: You know Zack Penn is outlining it as we speak so we'll see.

The Narrator: The Better Man
Haha. The Kree Mavel, he is "Captain Mar Vel" in the Marvel Universe.
Then there's the "Shazam" saying, lightning dude; Captain Marvel in the DC universe.
Lol, help any?

But that still has me confused since you said Captain Marvel not somebody named Mar Vel lol. And I know Cap Marvel is a dc character so...still confused haha.

The Narrator: The Better Man
No. Haha, there is a Mar Vel character in the Avenges or mostly Marvel world. Lol. But thanks for double checking. Haha. I know who your talking about.

Fallen, I might sound dumb here but I thought Captain Marvel was a DC Comics character lol? Wouldn't that be like having Aquaman be the villian in The Avengers lol?

I would love to see a story arch similar to the secret wars and the Beyonder. That brings back memories !!!

The Narrator: The Better Man
Like I said the kree empire is a perfect fit for a "huge bad guy" with Captain Marvel. That way it can end on a good note, and maybe have some skrulls in the background, or at least talk of em. Ya see whee I am going with this?

The Marvel universe is full of great bad guys. The trouble is who can you put on the screen against the Avengers. Look at it this was in their own right Capi, Thor or Iron Man can handle any single bad guy. So the threat to Earth has to be really Big!!! Maybe they look for inspiration at the Avenger animated movies they did?

Oh and OF COURSE please bring back Ed Norton, Robert Downey Jr., Sam Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, and anyone else who played specific characters in the previous movies! Continuity is Marvel's forte!

I just don't want to see the Hulk as the bad guy. As far as Julian McMahon or whatever for Doctor Doom again? No thanks! Every time I think of that character or those movies I just think of that horrible "Let's not fight Susan"..."No Lets" line (or something my bad for not remembering them exactly the movies sucked). Loki would be cool if he was teamed up with someone else for this one since they're gonna use him as the bad guy for Thor all ready. Bring back Abomination since he never died! Who else...Red Skull, I'm sure we'll see in Captain America bring him in. There's so many ways to go! Can't wait for this!

For a baddy, may I suggest Captain Marvel? Ya know, the Kree empire introduced and all. IDK.

I want to see Norton return as Banner if they bring in Hulk... if not only for the continuity aspect of MARVEL Studios.
The last scene in Hulk 2 shows us that Banner is in Vancouver BC and trying to control his transformations. It would be cool to show that he's got some power over them, enough to control when he transforms, so he could be a good guy.

Yeah I like Hawkeye too Fallen. Maybe they will have him in a cameo lol. And yes Doctor Doom is one of the cooler baddies and I love Julian (Nip/Tuck baby!) and I thought he was actually a Spiderman villian since I had this comic book with a decent size story of him fighting Spidy and it was funny. But I doubt they would use Doom in a non-Fantastic Four way, which sucks.

Yes bring back julian mcmahon as Dr. Doom. That would be an epic win

And does anyone think, that if they HAD Hank Pym, Patrick Wilson is a near perfect fit?

The Narrator: The Better Man
Dude, I like this setup, but I just wished they added one more person: Hawkeye! Anyways, I hope they at least show Hank Pym and Janet in the background as scientist and slowly introduce them.
And btw, Hawkeye can work if they introduce him in "Captain America: the First Avenger". Anyways, i can't wait.

i didnt have a problem with julian mcmahon... but seeing him cast as someone else would not hurt my feelings

iamBATMAN: who would you like to see play Doc Doom?

i would really like to see Doctor Doom somehow incorporated in this. he is one of the few villains in the marvel universe that i actually like

This lineup makes sense, and it's simple. If they get too many team members they'd take up screen time and that would suck. 4 is a good number. I really don't know much about Nick Fury so I'm on the fence, Sam's a good actor so I'm not worried about that. All I want is for The Hulk (if he's in it) to be a good guy, not a bad guy cause that would be stupid. Iron Man could probably beat the Hulk by himself. It would be overkill to have Cap, Thor, Nick, and Iron Man chasing after him.

I hope the Hulk's in it, but I also hope they branch to other villains...using Hulk as the main villain would be the easy way out. Ultron and the Masters of Evil have to show up eventually.
Baron Zemo should be in Captain America. That would be cool. It could set up the Masters of Evil. When Zemo discovers Cap has been thawed out he puts together his own team...something like that. Hank Pym could be working on the Ultron/Vision project throughout the film setting up the sequel.

No FF will not apear, they belong to fox, he's not hinting, he just is saying he would like to see at least four more marvel characters that paramount would like to adapt.
3 years agoby @m-man360Flag
Mmm_mmm
When it says "...frankly even four" i think he might be hinting at The Fantastic Four. I don't think that they'd be introducing heroes not introduced in another film. As main Avengers anyway.
I thought that Hulk was to be a villain. The Avengers assembled as a force strong enough to stop Hulk.
Then maybe another force rises up more menacing the the misunderstood Hulk and the jade giant joins the group.

-comrade-
Skrulls belong to the FF.
I think there are some good inbuilt villains for the avengers to use, at least so they don't have to steal other characters'.
Examples:
Loki
Ultron w/Vision
those right there are f*cking cool. I would love to see the Ultron/Vision thing happen, with more of an Ultimate twist (like maybe there's an army of Vision Robots)

I'm hardly even a fan of Cap, (actually Civil War's as close a look as I ever got to him) but this First Avenger movie's by far one of those I'm really , REALLY wanting to see...anyone thinks they'll keep the same round shield by the way? (yeah I know the very 1st shield wasn't the round one we all know but...)
