SDCC 2009: First Look at Jonah Hex Poster!

The official poster for Jonah Hex, starring Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Michael Shannon was revealed at Comic-Con today, and you can get your first look at the high-res image below.

Hex, known for having the right side of his face disfigured and wearing a Confederate army uniform, was a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter whose adventures always ended in blood.

Jonah Hex first appeared in the early 1970s in the issues of "All-Star Western" before graduating to his own series in 1977 that ran for about 10 years. A new series was launched in 2005. The character also had a run in the 1990s that combined the Western genre with supernatural elements.

Jonah Hex is in theaters August 6th, 2009.

Jonah Hex was released June 18th, 2010 and stars Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox, Michael Fassbender, Will Arnett, John Gallagher Jr., Tom Wopat, Michael Shannon. The film is directed by Jimmy Hayward.

    I've got a few things to look forward to in this film. 1: Obviously Megan Fox, the hottest girl in Hollywood. 2: Josh Brolin, awesome actor. And 3: I love the "Jonah Hex" comics, and i've always wanted to see a film adaptation. PLEASE BE RATED "R"!! It deserves that.
