COMIC-CON 2012: ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Mondo Poster

Artist Jock has created this limited edition print that will be on sale Thursday, July 12 at the Mondo booth inside the San Diego Convention Center.

The Dark Knight Rises will not have much of an official presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year, since it opens in just nine short days. However, that doesn't mean you can't get your Batman fix at the San Diego Convention Center. Mondo has unveiled a limited edition poster for The Dark Knight Rises, which will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday July 12 at the Mondo booth (#437). Take a look at the poster and read on for more details on how you can score this gorgeous quad print tomorrow.

The Dark Knight Rises Mondo Comic-Con 2012 Poster

Mondo commissioned the artist Jock to create this 24x36 poster, which will be priced at $50. Only 375 of these posters were created, so if you want to bring this home from the Con, you have to follow the @MondoNews Twitter feed to find out the exact time these quads will go on sale. It might help to be camped out next to this booth all day to ensure you can pick up this rare poster. Do people actually camp out for posters? We'll see tomorrow, by the Mondo booth (#437).

The Dark Knight Rises was released July 20th, 2012 and stars Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

How can someone bash this movie, when all the prequels have exceeded everyone's expectations, even when we thought it was going to be epic before watching it! The Avengers was great with lots of action, but there is no way the story is going to be anywhere near as rich. There is a reason Batman is basically the only DC character able to rise in a Marvel dominated world of comics, and its not because his things are awful... please learn what you are talking about... Brizzy and Superman, thanks for tearing him a new one...

@superman81 Agree with the avengers part, and I allready knew that he was a avenger fanboy, I just wanted to humiliate him by forcing out a dumb answer.

@Brizzy he wont be able to, he is an Avengers superfanboy and is hell bent on trashing TDKR at every turn. Its not going to do any good to bash this movie. It has had standing ovations from every screening its had, the critics that have seen it so far have said its amazing. Some even saying its better than Avengers, not that was ever going to be an issue
