COMIC-CON 2012: ‘Godzilla’ Poster!

Director Gareth Edwards made a surprise appearance during the Warner Bros. Hall H panel to show off the very first trailer.

A few weeks back, we reported that Legendary Pictures was lining up a special surprise at the Warner Bros. Comic-Con panel in Hall H with Godzilla. Today that surprise was confirmed, with director Gareth Edwards presenting the first trailer, even though the movie hasn't started production. While the video isn't online quite yet, the studio has released a brand new poster for this highly-anticipated reboot. Check it out.

Godzilla was released May 16th, 2014 and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Cameron Adams, Ken Watanabe, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Carson Bolde, Sally Hawkins, Juliette Binoche. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards.

    The flick has potential, but who wants to bet that Gareth is just going to duplicate the obnoxious formula of his first and only film MONSTERS? That was one pretentiously boring, "monster-not-monster-movie" that only devoted two minutes of its run time into actually showing you the uneventful "monster". He better not think that ostentatious storytelling, a complete lack of monsters and boring, improvised dialogue is what makes a GODZILLA movie so much explosive fun.
