Hungry Rabbit Jumps's Roger Donaldson has signed on to direct the financial thriller Cities, starring Clive Owen and Anil Kapoor.

Cities is a cautionary tale about greed and ambition set against the Dow Jones all-time stock market high. The film will interweave stories of a New York hedge fund manager, a young London couple looking to buy their first home and a Mumbai cop fighting corruption.

Roger Donaldson is also co-writing the screenplay, based on the original script Extreme Cities, written by Glenn Wilhide.

Production is set to begin in October in London, Mumbai and New York.
