Christopher Nolan has set up an untitled thriller through his own Syncopy banner, which will be written and directed by former actor Keith Gordon.

This will only be the second time that Christopher Nolan has produced a picture without an eye to direct it himself. The first such project is Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, which is in production now and will be released next year.

This untitled thriller will be based on a novel, but no one is saying which novel that may be. Keith Gordon has an eye for great genre fare, having starred in such classics as Christine, Dressed to Kill, and The Legend of Billie Jean. Most recently, he has directed episodes of AMC's hit drama The Killing, and Showtime's Dexter.

There is no production schedule set for Keith Gordon's untitled thriller at this time.

Great director... Check out his film from about 10 years ago called Waking The Dead. It was beautiful and heartbreaking and gorgeously shot! Looking forward to this (whatever it might be)
