Chris Evans has traded his Captain America costume for covert military hardware in a new trailer and poster for Call of Duty Online. The Marvel star proves his action chops by picking up a large bazooka on the battlefield. Watch as he sets out to save a team of Chinese soldiers from a war zone in this intense promo.

The live-action spot is for Activision's Call of Duty Online, which was developed specifically for China. While console games were banned from the country in the early 2000s, the ban was lifted in 2013. Call of Duty Online is a micro transaction-based version of the very popular multi-player. It is expected to be a huge phenomenon when it launches in the New Year. It is not known if Chris Evans will be seen promoting Call of Duty in the states.

In the teaser trailer, Chris Evans comes to the rescue when a group of Chinese soldiers gets stuck behind ememy lines. He's soon proving why you don't mess with an American soldier as he pulls out some heavy duty firepower. If you can't wait five more months for Avengers: Age of Ultron, then take a look as Captain America takes on a different kind of playing field.
