  1. TheDude1 is reporting that Skyfall will indeed take the weekend with roughly 11 million dollars. Twilight in second with roughly 8.7 million. The new Gerald Butler movie will have trouble breaking 6 million dollars.

Skyfall, Twilight, Lincoln. Playing for Keeps stands no chance.

Lincoln expands this weekend. I think it will be number one, though it could just be Skyfall by default since it's been number one during the week. Playing for keeps won't break $7 million.

"Red Dawn" has received generally unfavorable reviews from film critics...see silly Hollywood remakes/reboots...never work!

It better NOT win the weekend box office or part of the weekend top 10. Movies like Skyfall, Argo and Lincoln better kick that movie off the top 10 weekend box office, and NOT just to number 11, 12 or 13 spot. Because that is still big wrong. More like to 20 or 24, that should be about right. Movies like Skyfall, Argo and Lincoln need do their job and make it happen.

Please not again, I can't wait for this movie to just die once and for all!!

Slow week. Maybe Skyfall can come out with a big upset. One can hope so.

  11. John M

    1. Skyfall: 12 million
    2. Rise of the Guardians: 11 million
    3. Lincoln: 9 million
    4. Twilight: 9 million
    5. Life of Pi: 8 million
    6. Playing For Keeps: 6 million
    7: Wreck-It Ralph: 5 million
8: Silver Linings Playbook: 3 million
9.: Killing Them Softly: 3: million
    10: Red Dawn: 3 million

This will be another down weekend until the big films start coming out next weekend with the Hobbit, but I think Skyfall should win and the bottom three are really to close to call.

Post your top 10 in here and let's see who's right, or closest to right on Sunday:) I know mine haven't been the best lately, but I can't see Twilight taking it again, and Keeps is the only new wide release.
