'Bel Ami' Clip with Robert Pattinson

This adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's novel follows a French man who seduces elite women.
Magnolia Pictures has released the first clip for Bel Ami, an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's classic novel which debuts on VOD formats May 4 before hitting theaters June 8. Robert Pattinson stars as Georges Duroy, who uses his wily charms to seduce wealthy women in 1890s Paris. Bel Ami is the story of Georges Duroy, who travels through 1890s Paris, from cockroach ridden garrets to opulent salons, using his wits and powers of seduction to rise from poverty to wealth, from a prostitute's embrace to passionate trysts with wealthy beauties, in a world where politics and media jostle for influence, where sex is power and celebrity an obsession.

Bel Ami was released June 8th, 2012 and stars Robert Pattinson, Natalia Tena, Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, Colm Meaney, Kristin Scott Thomas, Holly Grainger, Philip Glenister. The film is directed by Declan Donnellan, Nick Ormerod.
