Despite his constant denials, many believe that Jason Momoa is still playing Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While this may not be confirmed until the movie is actually in theaters, Schmoes Know claim that the character will have a 'surfer' look in the movie. Which sounds like a no brainer conclusion if Jason Momoa is in fact taking on the role.

About the appearance of Aquaman, they state:

"He's going to look like a surfer essentially with tribal tattoos and all that jazz."

Anyone who has spent a lot of time looking at photos of Jason Momoa in his previous movies will note that most make him cover-up his tribal forearm tattoo. Aquaman's Surfer look actually plays into the actor's own style, and would allow him to finally show off this distracting ink on the big screen.

It is being speculated that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will utilize elements of the New 52 version of the character, and might follow the creation of the Justice League after Darkseid attacks the earth.

Previous rumors claim that Aquaman is mad at Superman because of all the damage done to the Indian Ocean by General Zod's World Engine in Man of Steel. This same report claims that the whales seen above Clark Kent when he falls into the ocean after saving the men from the oil rig fire were actually sent by Aquaman, thus providing his introduction.

They state:

"Aquaman sent the whales to save Supes and make sure he was okay, which makes sense considering we never actually see how Supes gets back to shore in the film. He sees the whales and then it cuts to him walking on land, which could mean they were saving the swim back for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

If that is true, it means Aquaman has already made his presence known in the DC Cinematic Universe. What do you think?
