After what appeared to be an international trailer for Avengers 2 leaked earlier today, Marvel has released the official Avengers 2 trailer along with a new poster almost a full 6 days earlier than planned. As we first reported, the trailer was supposed to first go live during the October 28th episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but because of the massive popularity of this movie, Marvel obviously couldn't let it slide. Even the official Marvel twitter account hilariously commented on the matter:

All of your favorite superheroes from 2012's Marvel's The Avengers are back, with Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Samuel L. Jackson all reprising their roles from the original blockbuster, alongside new cast members such as Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen as the sibling duo Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, and, of course, the villainous Ultron, voiced by James Spader.

This action-packed footage from director Joss Whedon's superhero sequel also teases the epic battle between Hulk and the Hulkbuster armor, most likely controlled by Ultron himself, and we also get a brief glimpse at Captain America's broken shield. We reported last month that the trailer will debut on the big screen, attached to prints of Interstellar, but that has not been confirmed yet. Check out the official trailer below in glorious 1080p.
