Idris Elba, who played Heimdall in 2011's Thor and last year's Thor: The Dark World, confirmed in an interview with The Telegraph that his character will return in next year's Avengers: Age of Ultron. Here's what he had to say, revealing that he appears in a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.

"I'm in Avengers. And I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [who plays Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [Loki], and they're like, [whispers] - 'Aren't you [meant to be] in Ibiza?' That's why I was p----- about my set yesterday. I really just wasn't there. I was annoyed."

The actor took on a DJ in residency role at Ibiza Rocks off the coast of Spain this summer. This news contradicts a report from December 2012 when Tom Hiddleston himself revealed that he will not be featured in Avengers: Age of Ultron. It's possible that Idris Elba's Heimdall and Tom Hiddleston's Loki will only have cameo roles, much like Chris Evans' brief but memorable cameo in Thor: The Dark World, but that has not been confirmed.
