Arnold Schwarzenegger Takes ‘Black Sands’

Scott Waugh and Mike McCoy will direct this thriller from a script by Skip Woods, with production set for April of 2012.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed onto yet another project since leaving the Governor's office. The action star has agreed to take the lead in Black Sands for directors Scott Waugh and Mike McCoy.

Swordfish's Skip Woods is responsible for the screenplay, which centers on a loner who decides to wage war against a corrupt weapons manufacturer and his private army.

Black Sands is set to begin filming April 1st, 2012. Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently filming The Expendables 2, and will then move onto The Last Stand before starring in Black Sands.

The Unknown Soldier was released in 2013 and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is directed by Scott Waugh, Mike McCoy.

    @thedude-abides look at stallone though. he's about the same age as arnold and he kicked ass in the newest Rambo and Expendables.. yes some people think expendables isnt all that great but he took on steve austin and for a guy his age thats impressive
