James Denton, Christina Hendricks and Anthony LaPaglia have joined the voice cast for the latest DC Universe animated DVD, All-Star Superman, based on one of the most critically-acclaimed DC comic books of all time.

Heat Vision Blog has the news on this new DVD movie, which will be the 10th animated project from Warner Home Video and DC Entertainment. Bruce W. Timm is executive producing with Sam Liu (Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths) directing from a script by Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths).

James Denton will provide the voice of Superman with Christina Hendricks voicing Lois Lane and Anthony LaPaglia portraying Lex Luthor. The story revolves around Superman, who is dying from radiation exposure after a rescue mission near the sun. He sets out on a final journey to reveal his secret to Lois Lane, teach a lesson in humanity to Lex Luthor while taking steps to ensure the world is safe when he's gone.

Other voice cast members include Edward Asner as Perry White and Frances Conroy as Clark Kent's mother. Linda Cardellini, Arnold Vosloo and Matthew Gray Gubler have also signed on in unspecified roles.
