    Good example of a commercially successful action director losing his touch. One has to wonder, though. Why are they resorting to cutty camera work, toned down effects (and budgets, for that matter) and poor story telling (Even by action films standards). Is it due to the new age of digital film-making,and how it's making their former way of thinking obsolete? I doubt it. Are they just getting washed up, perhaps?

    @narrator Almost all action directors that made great action movies of the 80's and 90's are loosing their style and are making their films look like a tv movie. Lets take Renny Harlin for example. Made Die Hard 2, Deep Blue Sea, The Long Kiss Goodnight, and Cliffhanger. Now, he has cheap 12 rounds and a very infamous 5 Days of War.

    @dan1 - agreed.

    Didn't know they'd released a trailer for this film already. I checked it out and was disappointed, even with my already low expectations. Fox's "She looks stunning" line was probably the only cool part in the entire trailer. Cohen's direction is barely noticeable in the trailer, as though any first tier director could have helmed the flick. The visuals looks too cheap, as opposed to the world I'd always imagined while reading the books. And Perry seems far too casual in almost every scene, and that's without mentioning the fact that I think of Madea every other time his face shows up.

    F*ck! The Alex Cross books were awesome, but this film probably won't be.

    What a silly poster! If you took Tyler Perry out of the mix, it would've been okay.

    Perhaps Fox's training for this film is the reason he went crazy and punched that bus driver.

    Idris Elba would have been perfect for the role. Just look at his performances on the epic show Luther. Instead, we got Perry... f*ck.

    That said, Mathew Fox is a silent favorite of mine, and he seems to be really getting into this villainous role of his. I might see the film just for him and to see if Rob Cohen has improved with age, or if this'll be another Mummy3 disaster. With Perry in the lead, it's leaning towards the latter.

    "Don't Ever Cross Alex Cross." Really?? Damn that's bad. Matthew Fox looks insane in this movie, he must have lost (No pun intended) at least 25% of his weight...
