Relativity, RelativityREAL and the Bandito Brothers will bring their No.1 box office film Act of Valor to the small screen, it was announced today by Relativity's President, Tucker Tooley, RelativityREAL's CEO, Tom Forman, and the Bandito Brothers. The theatrical release over-performed at the box office and in-home entertainment markets, including VOD and is soon to be broadcast on the FX Network.

The companies will work together to develop and shop an original and exclusive project based on the hit film, taking it to broadcast and cable networks shortly.

The film was an unprecedented blend of real-life heroism and original filmmaking, starring a group of active-duty U.S. Navy SEALs, alongside actors Roselyn Sanchez, Alex Veadov, Jason Cottle and Nestor Serrano, in a film like no other in Hollywood's history. A fictionalized account of a real life Navy SEAL operation, Act of Valor featured a riveting story, taking audiences on an adrenaline-fueled, edge-of-their-seat journey. When a mission to recover a kidnapped CIA operative unexpectedly results in the discovery of an imminent, terrifying global threat, an elite team of highly trained Navy SEALs must immediately embark on a heart-stopping secret operation, the outcome of which will determine the fate of us all.

Act of Valor's success continued with "Act of Valor: The Album," the soundtrack released by Relativity Music Group which peaked at No. 7 on the Top 100 albums chart and No. 1 on the country album chart. The soundtrack features new music from some of today's top recording artists including: Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland, Trace Adkins, Wynonna Judd and Montgomery Gentry.

"I was blown away by the realism and authenticity of Act of Valor. We're thrilled to work with the Bandito Brothers to make something more visceral than any other show on television," Forman said.

"We're excited to be reuniting with Relativity again in order to develop this series and tell stories about real acts of valor in a unique and engaging way," said Bandito Brothers.

Act of Valor will mark the second project that RelativityREAL has leveraged from feature film to television, following Catfish: The TV Show premiering on MTV in November. It is currently exploring television options for film properties Immortals, Haywire and Movie 43.
