Abigail Breslin Joins the Cast of ‘Rango’

Actress to co-star with Johnny Depp.

According to Variety, Abigail Breslin has involved herself in three new projects.

The actress will co-star with Johnny Depp in the animated tale Rango. Gore Verbinksi is helming this project for Paramount Pictures. Rango looks at a pet who goes on a journey of self discovery.

In addition to this, Breslin will also voice the main role in The Wild Bunch. The film looks at regular flowers who find themselves under attack from "genetically modified cornstalks."

Lastly, Breslin is in talks to join the cast of Columbia Pictures horror comedy Zombieland. Other cast members include Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone. Zombieland examines a world where zombie's rule and humans have to fight for survival.

Rango was released March 4th, 2011 and stars Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Ned Beatty, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Stephen Root, Harry Dean Stanton. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski.

Zombieland was released October 2nd, 2009 and stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Amber Heard, Bill Murray, Derek Graf, Jacob G. Akins. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer.
