50 Cent has joined the cast of director Jessy Terrero's drama Freelancers.

L. Philippe Casseus is behind the screenplay of this police thriller, which revolves around the son of a slain NYPD officer who joins the force and is welcomed into a rogue team of cops by a friend of his fathers.

Freelancers starts production in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 28th of this year.
