I'm not too familiar with children of the atom. I've heard of it. I like the wolverine series in the early nineties. He loses his adamantium, then one set of claws. I actually jumped in at that time, i personally like the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos is awesome. now I'm trying to finish collecting Age of Apocalypse. Those stories are way out there to be put into a film. There just Too Cool. Maybe an rpg game something that carries the story.
HEs Vague on star trek.
I hope it goes really well in production.

Hopefully, they make real space science look cool again. Seeing bright out of this world colors gets boring after awhile.

No way, its terrible huh, I'll have to check it out (X-men,first class)and see for myself. I heard Frank Miller collaberated with an X-Men series or was it wolverine? I think FOX is getting too excited about their X-MEN Franchise, Yes X-Men will always be profitable, but they keep rushing themselves to put it on screen and sacrificing quality. Whatever they do I want to see a drug abusing villian, lol.

I would be cool seein vintage baddies running a muck in all of their glory. apocalypse is suppose to be in that series.

Looks like FOX is considering X-MEN:First Class story line By Jeff Parker. Sounds like a fresh reboot. I get the feeling it will have a new, edgey, vintage fell to it like Superman Returns. This one should HAVE all the characters to it & disregard the other movies.

Nothing wrong with being a critic. Smoke some weed.
The only reason first X-Men was ok, was bryan s. introducing characters. So naturally it was slow. X-2 was great. Now when I think about, X-3 was a mistake. The whole story just didnt evolve well enough from X-2. If Bryan Singer finished X-3 it would've had more substance to it, hence a longer movie, which is good. Is It True-Singer did WANT to do X3? But he had already signed on to do Superman and Fox didn't want to wait for Singer to finish Superman?
Superman was a good movie, but it had more of an intellectuals feel to it.

If were forced to see another X4, I'll keep my expectations on mediocre. One of the reasons I think they do have to use cgi is because the XMen have superpowers and you have the danger-room. I think mimicking the comics- too much is when a good thing turns into a ridiculous theme. Just like all those Batman movies prior to Batman begins. Those Movies were terrible. George Clooney playing Batman wearing a glow in the dark suit, utterly gay. Then to make it worse they turned the batmobile into this ribbed condom-mobile on wheels. I could go-on-on and on. Hopefully, hollywood, if they make X4, they should have good enough sense to not over do the movie too much.

Actually there are some xmen cartoons that are favs that I still watch. The series that came out in 95, those were good, it's funny to because some of those animated series were almost like adult content, some characters were telling each other off. Good stuff, classic.

It's all good.
Nick Fury would be cool. I still have yet to see the hulk & Iron Man. Its a shame movie prices are so high now. It's like $10 to go see a matinee during the day. Such a rip off. Damn the man, lol. yeah, Whatever happens I just hope I get to see another Xmen film and not a script floating around on the internet for another 10yrs. Then another sort of let down or short fall in the movie. I'll still watch the Xmen trilogy though, I'm a fan, can't be helped.

Yeah, I didnt meant put down any bryan singer fans or those films, but he really did a professional job with Superman. Xmen should have shared the same success as the Lord..., it didnt though. Thats what erks me. They had plenty of story lines to work off of (comics). Then director controls all aspects of a movie, right? If he is in conrtol, which I think he is, he should have done alot more in the production of the film, costumes, ex. logan and rogue getting rescued in the beginning, that was a short fall in the 1st film. Ray Parks charcter could have been a little bit more fun & tweaked even in the time alotted for him.

They could reboot the series, that would be interesting, look at how they re-did the HULK., then ad characters or changem, like others have suggested. Or what I was thinking was do a cameo with the hulk or iron man, a thought. However ultimately, it's really in the hands of the director, how good his ideas are, money has a part to play too. But again its all about production.
What do you think about adding, ghost rider, hulk or iron man into an Xmen movie? I think it be cool.

Yes I can, compare two ideas that were basicly written adventure concepts.
It just sucks because the xmen had been floating around for about a decade or whatever and having problems hitting the big screen and when it did the impact was kind of soft. Versus a release from Lord of the Rings. Bryan Singer in my opinion really short ended the Xmen overall. Where as Peter Jackson had a better concept of putting his Lord ... to screen, thats all I'm comparing. The skill of the Director.
Bottom line the Xmen need a better director.
Otherwise upcoming Xmen movies just won't add up when you see them, everyone including me will be disappointed. How come I can't compare them?

And your reasons would be?
No I aint stupid, if you can't have a discussion like an adult than go back to 8th grade.

I hope whoever makes it, is alot more creative than Bryan Singer. If it is Bryan Singer on the 4th take or on a new theme, then he needs to get right. It's all about the director, if there's someone out there who has good opinions about bryan singer on Xmen 1 & 2, then I feel sorry for you. Those movies were just dry. Here's an example-
If you compare this movie series with Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. I can already tell you hands down that lord of the rings is way better by the tons.
Peter Jackson did a really good job on his films and I still enjoy watching those movies. The whole theme and timeline in those movies was good.
The only thing that Bryan Singer did well on was'nt even an Xmen Movie, it was Superman.

I have to agree with you dennyyoung. Over these past few years the XMEN have been resurrected and finally brought to the big screen since its announcement from the mid 90s. I hope the original xmen actors stick around because, like everybody knows, the people who do special fx should be the ones getting equally paid just like actors. The 3rd XMEN was alot better, but I hope the 4th installment is a 2hr adventure, I just like losing myself in the XMEN Universe.

Whoever Directs this next film needs to be more realistic with the costumes-wolverines hair, Cmon, I'm a wolvie fan and his dew looks better slightly long but tied back in a tail, more realistic, he's got claws we know its him.
Bryan singer was a bit of a let down, sorry but thats my opinion. First 2 films were slow and the scene where wolvie meets Cyc & Storm for 1st time was LAME Rescue. As far as the action goes in X3 it was improved, I just wish they got Omega Red right, he's all running through the woods throwing bone daggers, WTF. Juggernaught looked small. What ever they do for the Next film they shouldnt go all out on the costumes, but make small changes to it. Last thing any XMEN fan wants is a film mimicking BATMAN RETURNS-I dont want a GAY ole time at the movies-clooney or whatever director really turned that movie into a joke.
HOLLA!
xabbit0508 wrote a comment about the news item X-Men 4 in the Works
Make the movie already. Bring back nightcrawler, toad-ray parks, mystiqe, all the Xmen, team up with electra or somebody from the other Marvel films. Introduce Cable, phsylocke etc (one of them). It would Keep the XMEN atmosphere fresh and interesting like always. If Halle is to greedy maybe she can do a cameo at the Mansion. Then intorduce another lead like Jubilee or Gambit.
As far as villians, Keep Magnus, Throw in some good old villians from past films, Introduce Gideon, Sinister, maybe Cyber for wolverine. If the producer or whoever is going for the Xtinction Agenda Series from the comic books then they should throw in some evil mutants. Most of the work in my opinion will be down to CGI.
