Good show. Not really into Superman but you don't have to be to enjoy the series. I don't watch it faithfully because Smallville IS at times cheezy but I admit that it draws you in. I keep waiting for Clark to develop more and more into his iconic god-like status. Hard to believe that they're already in their 7th season.

I've collected comics on and off again for some 15 years now with a decided penchant for Marvel. In fact, I still find it fun to harangue loyal DC fanatics about ridiculous characters and titles, but it's always in good humor. My point: Both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight put all 3 Spider-man movies (and arguably Marvel's entire mainstream ensemble) to shame. There's simply no beating the gritty, hard-core element that Batman provides. AND it makes for a more plausible hero since he isn't a super (unless you include super rich!). There. I said it.
