Insidious was genuinely frightening. That's very rare. And even more rare in a PG-13 film. I am all for a sequel IF it has the same actors and the family return.

Well when I saw the prologue in IMAX I am not sure if it was just so loud or if he truly was unintelligible because I barely could make out what he was saying.

Well who the hell didnt see this coming? This franchise basically made Lionsgate a "real" studio. But I am so over these movies.

Wow the pictures released for this were amazing but I had no idea they were going in this direction. Awful. Snow White and the Huntsman for sure. And what's with Lily Collins eyebrows? She looks like a middle eastern man.

I cannot wait to see this. Soderbergh with Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer... hope he can get them to act. I'm excited either way because of the concept, could do without McConaughey though... either way, Tatum and Pettyfer are pure eye candy :)

TheDude you can moan all you want but PA3 is even certified fresh from critics. It is a good movie and an awesome third entry.

It definitely does deserve it. In it's third outing it's still as suspenseful as ever creating real tension and suspense. Not to mention it's certified fresh. Midnight showing was packed and the movie exceeded expectations.

That tagline is just a little reminiscent of Joker from Dark Knight. And Tim Curry as another clown? Sorry, IT was his and he wont top it here. Pass

Yea but don't forget, Disney puts their releases in the vault. So Lion King disappeared from store shelves in 2004, a year after it first hit DVD. Many people probably dont own the DVD. If anything the VHS from 1994. But it will be on Blu-ray on October 4th and will sell like crazy then.

So they are now resorting to home video cameras from 1988. I mean I am excited but they weighed like what 10 lbs and these are little girls who managed to set up a tripod and everything? Ha ha ha. I hope it doesn't disappoint but it is going to be interesting to see how they manage to incorporate home video footage like that as compared to security cameras.

the dude abides... the general movie going public will not know that TDKR will be Nolan's last batman film or the last batman film in this trilogy. EVERYONE knows this is the final Potter film. I'm just saying the opening numbers for DKR wont break this here. It will probably gross more domestically though when all is said and done.

TheDude1 you're wrong and I will prove it to you when The Dark Knight Rises is released. Ledger was an enormous draw for the film, as was his character of the joker. His death was talked about all seven months leading up to the film's release. And he was widely known considering he was nominated for best actor for Brokeback Mountain. Batman Begins didnt break any industry records and I don't see DKR breaking this one.

As much as I cannot wait for Dark Knight Rises it will not make this much or break this. There will be no hype surrounding it like Ledger's death for Dark Knight. There will be tons of hype, but it won't put up these numbers...

Well it does not matter if it is a reboot or a sequel. The CGI used will not compare to that of the original which in my opinion is still some of the most realistic looking CGI I have ever seen. Watch the scene where the Rex breaks out. Flawless. Resort back to that CGI and I will be ecstatic. JP3 had awful CGI.

Thank you superman. We are talking domestically, not internationally. I am not saying it flopped or will, but 66 million is NOT numbers praiseworthy of a supposed summer blockbuster.
