All I've heard is great stuff about this film... but I don't care how sexual it gets or how many people want to touch Portman's vagina, I just can't see myself watching a movie about ballarinas. I know, I know, its not just about that. I get it. Just like the Wrestler wasn't just about wrestling. Believe me... I get it. I just don't think I'm going to rush out and get a ticket for this film anytime soon.

I'm sure this review is accurate. Portman is a fine actress and has been right from the get-go in The Professional, but that won't change my mind.

I think the review was insightful and probably spot-on, but I'll be rooting for True Grit come Oscars night. Nice review.

I don't believe Narnia was ever at stake.

    Not sure if I'm back permanently, but its nice to visit this site again. Been going to Ramasscreen and chatting with him about movies... mostly. Thinking of coming back to do some reviews... if I have the time.

Love the way you break down everything. Actor by actor. Character by character. And then, storyline, visual effects, direction, etc. Love the way you even compare the film with the comic book storylines. I'm not knowledgable of Iron Man's mythology in the comics, but you definitely make us aware of some.
