MinusMan, although my opinion may have been laid out with harsh words, do you really think it is untrue? The fact is, these guys chose to do a reality show and one (not both) had greater influence over the final, edited version of the show with the intention to degrade the other in an effort to make himself look righteous. Do you really think that is fair? If you think my take is wrong, then so be it. What is important to take away is that that is my perception based on what was laid out for public consumption. Did CF expect people to think he's the "better guy" and that it wouldn't be noticed he used CF as a platform to GET A JOB as he underscored any issues/ deficiencies of CH so to put himself in better/ comparative light? CH may have been (or may be) on a downward spiral that is most influenced/ perpetuated by public humiliation- that was what CF brought to him on a silver platter. Right or wrong, it was laid out there for me to form an opinion and that is what I walked away w/. As for LB II...some things are better left UNDONE...at least until it can be done right. I am disappointed.
Fair enough, MinusMan. It may be true that CH has troubles. My belief is that he is often "defeated" by outside influences such as CF, who, appears to be jealous of him and intent on making him look bad and feel bad on that reality show. As much as CH may be addicted to drugs,he also may be addicted to hurt therefore he allows CF to tromp on him. CF appears to need that op to boost his own ego. I think LB II was a great concept but lost its op. I just think it was a waste of WB's $$ to do it this way. They could have used neither character and started anew rather then make us suffer through this B flick. There must've been another way to make this flick work. I do understand the credit you gave to CF on being ready to work. That doesn't change his arrogant demeanor that comes across all wrong and certainly it doesn't change the fact that LB II appears to have been "thrown" together.
Now I understand the conflicting news about Corey Haim's appearance in LB II; Apparently CH is in a cameo at the end of the movie as a vampire. What a waste of a great opportunity for LB II. Once again the mentally off, Corey Feldman reaches out to destroy an op for Corey H. CF naturally acts based on his narcissistic personality disorder. He is clearly affected by living in CH's shadow and jealous of him. He used that reality show to cast disparaging light on CH and essentially to bring CH down in every way so to devalue him in the public spotlight. It is a shame that CF is an insecure, sadistic control freak who has used this movie (and reality show) to embarrass and try to destroy the career, rep and self- esteem of CH as it was CF's only op to make himself look "better" (impossible, really). Sad that a great opportunity that could have been Lost Boys II was ruined by such a small minded, impetuous, self- serving loser like CF. CF should go back to doing what he does best, humiliating himself on stage in Michael Jackson drag and being NOTHING without Corey Haim. Bad move by WB not making CH the star of this film. And thus it goes straight to video and I will not be paying to see it.
What "they" (Corey Feldman as the freak Corey) tried to do was make CH look bad and destroy him. Corey Feldman is a loser and this movie was a waste of WB money without Corey Haim. WB should have worked on him, groomed him and subtracted his adversary, CF, so CH would find success. CF is gross and the movie is going straight to video as a result. Amazing how they edited this mess and set CH up for the fall. "They" tripped him. Too bad he didn't see it coming so to avoid giving CF the op to make himself feel better for living in CH's shadow all those years. CH will get his act together when he doesn't allow CF to set him up for public humiliation. Go back to the moon walk, you freak CF! You ruined LB II.
I am confused since the cute Corey said in an interview he is not in the movie. Yet the other Corey said CH is in it. And still CH is not in the trailer. Corey Feldman is a cheap piece of tin who suffers from narcissistic personality disorder that was worsened as a result of the years he lived in CH's shadow. He has made it his goal to bring CH down in every way and to devalue him in private and in the public spotlight. It is a shame that CF is a sadistic, arrogant control freak who has used this op to embarrass and try to destroy the career, rep and self- esteem of CH. Too bad CF didn't mature somewhat over the years. Sad for the great opportunity that WAS Lost Boys II to have been ruined by such a small minded, impetuous, self- serving loser like CF. Bad move not making CH the star of this film. And thus it goes straight to video.
