I really wish people would stopping taking horror classics and remaking them into PG-13. Make up you own horror movie and make it PG-13, but leave the classics alone.



i have to agree, i seen this about two weeks ago and it wasnt bad it had your usual dumb blonde teens with even dumber law enforcement "all the ingredients of a classic horror flick" but at the end of the day it fell into the category of just another spoiled remake. i give it 3 out of 5.

i gotta agree thought avp sucked, thats what happens when you let some noob direct what could have been an awesome franchise, thumbs down.

ok well between jason and myers theres a lot of similarities like there both basically mute (with the exception of some moans and groans) and they both were negleted in some way as youngens, but when it comes to killing they are quite different eg. the raw power edge goes to jason by far i mean whens the last time you seen myers
rap a chick around a tree while shes in her sleeping bag (refer friday 13th the new blood) or punch a amatuer boxers head clean off with one swift right hook? (jason takes manhattan)

and then theres myers who seemingly likes to stalk and watch a little before he kills with a slight tilt of the head as if hes slightly curios on what the victims insides would look like. and then theres of course his weapon of choice, the humble kitchen knife, i think you would agree that he much prefers laserations than twisted busted up body parts. keep in mind it would be kind of difficult to have only the two dueling it out seeing both of them have the personalitiy of a rock, which would make for a pretty mediocre movie i think, they might wanna throw in ash from evil dead or freddy again just to mix in some wit.

wow did anyone see that finale? reminded me of hellraiser.

house of a thousand corpses> end scene involving dr death.

texas chainsaw massacre the beggining> biker dude gets chainsawed from the groin up through the torso.

wolf creek> spine seperating scene

hostel> eye cutting scene (jap girl)

the texas chainsaw scene has a really cringing alement to it, due to that old cop wannabe laughing at him the whole time.

american gothic, does anyone else remember this show?
