haha, no biggie. it is a funny and entertaining movie, and i appreciated the director's skill in some of the clever little transitions. While I think it's a pretty dumb movie, there was plenty of odd bits that make you go 'what the?' and chuckle. James Franco takes the "stoner of the year" award because his performance was great as the needs-a-friend pot dealer.

I get your point folks, no offense taken. It's a good thing all these movie reviews, yours and mine, are simply opinions. Meaning yours is just as good as mine in a wonderfully free country :)

I really liked the movie too, loved the music and happy story. But in the big scheme of moviemaking, it's not a masterpiece to me.

Your son is right :) The movie's not that good. It's fun to watch in some parts because of the big action and special effects, but overall it's dumb. And I bet it's worse if you don't see it in 3D.
