... Russel Brand in that badman costume looks like a slightly older version of Jackie Estecado from 'The Darkness'.... Scary, but at the same time, beautiful.... come on hollywood... take notice of that :) lol.

As an Australian, I was pretty excited to see the trailer for this. Looks like it'll make a great film adaption of one of the most celebrated book series in Australia (and the world). If you pick up the book and give it a read, you'll notice differences to Red Dawn, among other things... Looks very good. Lincoln Lewis is typecast unfortunately.

wrote a comment about the news item Could Zac Efron Be Jonny Quest?
Zac looks and sounds like Johnny, i think this is a win win for fans and for Zac... although Zac obviously couldn't play an 11-year old johnny quest... he could play a more older sophisticated teenage version. As long as they include the technological aspects of the series over the indiana jones crap, i'll be happy. Dwayne Johnson needs to cut the crap out of his career, he won't do well in this film, nor will be play Race to a great extent... his fame as 'The Rock' has forever doomed his film career, maybe he needs to focus on roles that take into aspect his skin color and attitude. Race was more cool, calm, collective... Dwayne hasn't been able to pull any of those things off in the past before. Apologies to those insulted by the skin color, but i'm sick to death of racial mismatch among characters and actors in pop-culture based films. Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury was just terrible... a black nick fury? No no no... that just isn't right.

From my myspace:
So alot of interesting rumors have been coming out of the sets for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen... It seems as though the title may be the biggest spoiler or link to who the main enemy of the movie will be and i'm going to put alot of money on it being... The Fallen... one of the originals created by primus. The Fallen however explains why Starscream went back into space... If anyone recalls the animated film, Starscream held an alliance with Megatron, but also with the dark, world destroyer himself... Unicron. This plays an interesting link with The Fallen, as both, being created by Primus, among both Megatron and Optimus Prime; The Fallen is also directly the brother of Unicron!!! Usually The Fallen is on fire, but there haven't been any spoilers depicting what form he will take on, if any, in the Michael Bay film. But I have my own idea of what may happen... Optimus Prime Will Die in Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen. Why? Because of my personal favorite, Omega Supreme, taking over leadership of the Transformers pre-Unicron... however, I have feelings something could be thrown in the mix, with our new characters, and different storylines... Weather or not this could mean a return from Megatron (Galvatron baby... woooo) who knows... but judging from 'official' non-Bay transformers, a unicron storyline could work... but that means ALOT more CGI than robotics which would suck quite alot. |

High School Musical 4: Teenage alcoholism, Drug use, pregnancy, swearing, gangbanging, and a few dance and song things which supposedly make the themes light hearted kind of along the lines of Step up... only a little more gayyyyy.

Not a soundtrack i'd go out to buy... but i'm looking foward to that Aiden cover of cry little sister... they've done some great covers in their history. Im a fan of the original soundtrack... but the sequel is on the right path... it wont snatch best horror of the year (well it might this year)... but it is definitely going to be one of the best. Suprisingly Blind Melon, The hold steady and seether are the other suprises on the album.

"It was also confirmed that while Captain America's famous shield is seen briefly in Tony Stark's lab in Iron Man, the presence of the shield is just an Easter Egg for the fans - not an actual part of the story of either film."
I wonder if people were excited thinking a film based on the Marvel Civil War event... which changed Spider-Man forever... hrm... But yes, no Matty'Mc and they're setting Captain America in his origins... should be bloody beautiful if they do it all right... Cap America Vs. Hitler? hell yeah, any day! |

wrote a comment about the news item EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Uwe Boll Goes Totally Postal!
If he screws up a movie about islamic extremists going crazy, enviromentalists blowing crap up, corrupt cops and government, gary coleman with guns, someone urinating into the air which lands into their mouth making Postal Guy choke, and numerous other screwed up sh*t, he's gonna suck.
But yeah, from what i've seen, Uwe Boll won't screw this one up, he perfectly f*cked it up.... in the best way possible... gonna be his first good film. Probably going to be remembered among over-the-top comedies of the decade, but not classed with your 'classic' 'Stoner' Comedies. |
