Ok Tranformers 3 was no masterpiece but it's f*cking annoying that keeps getting so much sh*t. It wasn't a terrible movie at all.

@k-man The Arri Alexa is the best Digi Cine body out there right now. It uses an actual shutter to achieve a more realistic film look rather than an electronic shutter. RED is obviously great too. Arri just has so much more experience manufacturing cameras.

Professional sound equipment doesn't mean anything when you have loud actions going on in the scene. They'll record it for a "guide" but almost any action film goes through the ADR(Automated Dialogue Replacement) process at some point. Unless your going into post-production sound, knowing what ADR means is about all you will need to know.

No special effects are practical effects that are done on set. Visual effects are done through CGI. Look up a special effects company. They specialize in explosions, miniatures, etc. Visual effects are done through a visual effects house like ILM, Digital Domain or WETA.

I think the impressive part is how fast the Ferrari stopped. Those are some good brakes that thing has!

My problem is that it seems like there's a dutch angle every other f*cking shot and that bugs me a little bit. It makes it look a little cheap.

I was at the set over the weekend. Some of the stunts I witnessed were incredible including a extremely badass base jump off the trump tower. The base jumpers then landed on Wacker where ground troops began open firing and it turned into a huge battle. I also think most of the cars we're upgraded. The corvette, Bumblebee, and Ratchet all looked different.

Uwe Boll at least makes an effort to direct. the douches that make the f*cking spoof movies should get worst director for very obvious reasons.

I liked Prince Caspian alot. One huge reason I think it did poorly in theatres is because of its May 16 release date. The first one was a December release which is good for big epic fantasy films such as this and look how much better it did.
