Here's what I'd like to see happen - Yes, Use Hulk as the antagonist to bring the Avengers together, but have someone else pulling his strings, Loki, Ultron or even Thanos,
The Avengers come in, have a massive battle and finally subdue Hulk. Banner goes into custody willingly, having seen all the damage he caused. That's the first part of the film. Second part would be the main villian causing other conflicts and finally being revealed as the major badguy - cue final third of the movie, which is another kick ass battle! All the Avengers are down, Cap is barely standing, when he calls on Hulk who comes hurtling out of the sky to REALLY get angry and go to town! That's what I'd love to see happen. The thing about Hulk is that, despite his rage and strength, he really is just misunderstood. He ISN'T a bad guy, and I don't think he should be portrayed as the villain! I am super psyched about this movie! I LOVE LOVE LOVE what Marvel are doing with their films! |
